Our Story

my images. your words. a ritual.

I’m Alicia, the founder of Fully Live Life. I create notecards from my travels and from the small, beautiful details of everyday life. What began as a way to share my photographs has evolved into something deeper: a practice of connection, presence, and inner reflection.

My hope is to nurture connection in all its forms: to beauty, to the moment you’re in, to the people you love, and to the quiet truth within yourself.

I believe in the power of writing by hand. A physical card offers something digital messages cannot: space to slow down, breathe, listen, and speak from the heart. It becomes a ritual, a keepsake, a legacy.

Fully Live Life invites you to create that kind of space for yourself. A place where words become sacred and where even the smallest moments can feel meaningful.

I can’t wait to help you slow down, tune in, and welcome the deeper words that are ready to be written.

I moved often throughout my childhood and disconnection became a familiar companion. As an adult, I’ve devoted myself to creating and nurturing deep, meaningful connections with others and with my own inner world. I try to find awe, joy, and presence in everyday moments. Life is happening now, and I believe we are meant to be awake for it.

In 2020, a long-awaited dream of extended travel with my family was abruptly cut short by the global pandemic. When we returned home, my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. A season I had imagined as expansive suddenly became one of the most internal, tender, and disorienting periods of my life.

During one of my quarantines, a question began to rise in me: In a world this unpredictable, how do we fully live our lives? How do we stay connected to ourselves, to the people we love, and to what is true?
Fully Live Life began to take shape from that place.

Around the same time, I was cleaning out a house where three generations of my family had lived for more than seventy years. I found hundreds of handwritten cards, some more than a century old. I had recently returned from our travels with thousands of photographs, images that felt like they were waiting for a deeper purpose. A quiet voice inside me suggested that these pieces belonged together.

Fully Live Life grew from that marriage of creativity and meaning: a way to use my images and my love of handwritten cards to create a sacred space for connection, both outward and inward.

My lifelong love for the earth also shapes everything I make. From protecting land for conservation in Peru to working on clean drinking water and serving on national environmental boards, care for the natural world has been one of the most enduring threads in my life. That same commitment guides every choice I make for Fully Live Life, from materials to production to design.

To me, writing is both an act of reaching out and an act of turning inward. Through ritual: lighting a candle, brewing tea, breathing with intention, we begin to hear the words that have been waiting inside us. Writing them down becomes a practice of truth, healing, and connection.

You might write to someone you love, someone who has passed, a younger version of yourself, a future self, or a truth you are finally ready to meet. Pen and paper create a space where words become legacy.

Cards become keepsakes.
Handwriting becomes memory.
Presence becomes sacred.

Fully Live Life is my invitation to you: slow down, connect deeply, and write what is true, one ritual, one moment, one card at a time.
