THE DETAILS:
Do you have letters that you write a million times in your head but never put to paper? Do you sit down to write and need help figuring out how or where to start?

Join us for a supported letter-writing workshop to get the pen to paper and express something from your heart and soul. We will use poetry as the prompt to provide that first line.

Are you intimidated to start? What might come up once you sit down to write? All of you is welcome here - in this supported environment, you will be encouraged to write one word and then the next, with no expectations on what you will write or whether or not you will even send it!

Letters are treasures. This class is an opportunity to see what happens when you sit down to write a letter. Whether it is a letter to yourself (past, present, or future), an ancestor (alive or passed), a cherished friend, your beloved pet, or something else entirely, there are words in you yearning to be written.

We will write up to three letters in this class. Afraid you won't write it right? The first letter will be on the "imperfects" card stock, fondly addressed to Dear Perfectionism. That should get the ballpoint pen rolling!

Alicia Wittink

Alicia Wittink has recently started a new endeavor (Fully Live Life™), marrying her longtime passion for photography with attempting to reinvigorate the diminishing art of writing cards and letters using her photography. She has experienced how deeply touching and vital it is to stumble upon a legacy of handwritten cards. She has also immensely enjoyed reflecting on what truly matters through writing and can't wait to share it with you!
